At Mackenzie and MRS, we are committed to providing
you with a secure and protected environment for accessing your clients'
account information. Your AdvisorAccess User ID
and password are unique
to you and should not be shared with anyone.
AdvisorAccess makes use of an Internet security method that acts to
encrypt or "scramble" the information that passes between your
computer and ours. This prevents others from being able to read or tamper
with the information.
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is an encryption method that makes use of
high-security Internet browsers from Microsoft and Netscape. It has become
an industry standard security system due to its widespread use by banks
and retailers who offer transactional services on the Internet. SSL is
available for Mackenzie and MRS AdvisorAccess.
For an even higher level of security and access your clients' information
through AdvisorAccess, you can register with FundSERV's security service – IDentity.
IDentity is built around a public key infrastructure (PKI) and combines
the latest in security software with encryption technology to protect
your e-business transactions and communications. Subscribers will benefit
exclusively from an authenticated identity, secure and private Internet
transactions, and a single username and password to industry services.
For more information about FundSERV IDentity and to download/install
the Entrust/Direct software, go to www.fundserv.com/identity.htm.
The Mackenzie web site has been designed to work with Internet Explorer
5.0 and above, and Netscape Communicator/Navigator 4.7 and above. As
long as you are using one of the supported browsers, no additional software
is required.
Note: We currently do not support Netscape 6.0.
With SSL, you can securely access AdvisorAccess from any computer with
an Internet connection and a recent browser by using your Mackenzie/MRS
User ID and password.
