Enhancements to MRS Investor Services

As previously communicated earlier this year, we would like to provide you a recap of the service enhancements we've made to MRS Investor Services, a service offered by M.R.S. Securities Services Inc., a member of IIROC.

MRS Investor Services allows Financial Advisors to take on investors that have existing securities which their dealer is not registered to hold or advise on.

Your clients can use MRS Investor Services to fulfill investment needs not provided by you, their Financial Advisor. MRS Investor Services does not solicit business directly from investors and therefore will not compete for client assets managed by you.

In addition:

• With investor consent, Financial Advisors can NOW view these accounts online via MRS AdvisorAccess (provided your dealer has not requested M.R.S. Securities Services Inc. to not make this service available) or receive duplicate statements
• M.R.S. Securities Services Inc. has policies and procedures in effect to assist Financial Advisors in being compliant by minimizing the ability for an MFDA Advisor to conduct activities for which they are not licensed.
• While this service does not allow Financial Advisors to provide advice on securities they are not licensed to sell, or become involved in specific transactions, it does provide a solution for Financial Advisors that acquire clients who want to continue to hold some individual securities.
